Here are just a few samples of custom repoussé we can add to your Handcrafted Metal product. Repoussé is the ancient art of hand-hammering relief patterns into metal. Fine work is usually done in gold and silver, but we work in copper and zinc. While stainless steel is too hard a material to repoussé, we can hammer a design in a zinc plate and place it in your sink as an integral front plate as shown below in our "L" sink. We can use any pattern — all that's needed is an image to start the process. We have a large library of images, and we can create stylized lettering. Our old world finishes and varying hammered textures can also be applied.
