This sink displays our hammered interior finish. This design has hammered sink walls and our small pattern premium butterfly finish on the sink bottom.
We hammer the top of the divider and a short distance out onto the top of the flanges to make all visible surfaces hammered after the sink is installed.
The natural color of hammered copper is a somewhat variable brown as seen here. This color results from the heat processes we use during hammering. It is fairly resistant to color change and does not not need a surface sealer to stay in the medium browmn range.
Hammering adds a light dimpled texture. The shallow depressions of this texture are easy to clean. They also hide scratches and fingerprints.
The hammering shown is full coverage. We also offer another version of this texture which is commonly known as distressed. This texture has hammer marks in a widely spaced random pattern. |
