Stainless steel or zinc bullnose island countertop with raised island bar
This island counter is great for entertaining. The deck is jitterbug finished to a nice semi-gloss sheen that hides scratches. The backsplash shows a bit of sparkle from the butterfly finish highlights - an accent to the sedate colors of the deck. Bullnose edges on every side give the whole counter a really soft and inviting feeling. This countertop is seamless - all joints are welded and then polished until they disappear. Dimensions of this countertop are about 3 1/2' long on each of the side wings and 6' on the center section, as measured along the back side for a total length of 13'. The wings are extra wide at 36", which is not difficult with stainless. The wings would need to be 32" if using zinc because of the narrower zinc sheet width. This photo shows a matte gray appearance - this demonstrates the fact that our jitterbug finish stainless has a very similar appearance to the matte gray color of zinc.
