| Copper countertop with marine bullnose edges, column notch, and 'L' shaped sink This very unusual countertop has numerous custom features. All corners are spherical - a feature that requires hand-forming in addition to the extensive copper welding needed at the marine bullnose corners. The counter adjoins a utility chase at the left rear, which prompted the addition of coved splashes at the places where the countertop touches the chase for better protection of the wall from wet conditions at the sink. Further, the counter is a semi-island or peninsula configuration which required the bullnose marine edge to wrap around the back side. In effect this countertop is an island with a notch cut out at the left rear corner. To finish things off in style, the sink is 'L' shaped to make room for a trash chute collar that provides for convenient scraping of plates into a receptical hidden inside the cabinet below. The finish on this counter is natural new copper, which will slowly turn darker over time. Prices below include our recommended hand-rubbed wax brown patina finish.
