The square ends of the apron are only 1" depth, which allows the front of the apron to be flush with the edge of the counter top. The radius ends of the apron are 2" deep so the front of the apron will extend out past the edge of the counter top. The texture on the apron will be more visible as the zinc ages. Smooth 16 gauge zinc is fully welded and polished, and we give a natural hand-rubbed finish with carnauba wax.
